What happens during a screening?
You will meet with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®)/ Behaviour Analyst (BA) and/or a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to look at areas such as behaviour, speech, language, communication, pre-literacy/pre-academic skills, and adaptive skills.
During a screening, you may:
Discuss your child and goals for their development
Have a short screening tool used on your child to gauge their current skills
Have observations and opinions shared with you by our experts
Be given clear steps on what to do next
You can share these results with a family doctor if you choose.
