Maximum Potential offers free monthly virtual or in-person screening clinics by appointment for parents to address questions and/or concerns regarding their child’s development. The clinic is run by a qualified team of professionals including:

– a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®)/ Behaviour Analyst (BA)
– a speech-language pathologist

The team will be available to provide brief observation and/or guided interview, completion of a screening tool, and consultation in the areas of behaviour, speech, language, communication, pre-literacy/pre-academic skills, and adaptive skills.

The results of the screening will be discussed with parents/caregivers and will outline which areas of development are following a typical path and/or other areas which may require ongoing monitoring or additional assessment by a healthcare professional.

These results may be shared with the family physician and other healthcare professionals by the parent/caregiver.
